Business Development Executive


Job Responsibilities:
  • In charge of the Lower Notthern Area and taking care of key wholesale/ wholesale.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure the achievement of strategic objectives and targets.
  •  Ensure market returns are managed below the budget set by Company
  •  Establish a high level of rapport with key customers as well as provide accurate and timely information for decision making purposes
  • Meeting objective set by Company on Retail Performance Standard – coverage, distribution, pricing, shelving & merchandising
  • Conduct regular sales analysis to evaluate promotion effectiveness and identify business opportunities as well as conduct business reviews to customer.
  • To review and evaluate sales performance of each key customer assigned and recommend relevant strategies to grow the business
  • To work with a team of merchandisers to achieve sales goals, DSO and 5P’s expectation of the company
  • Develop new business opportunities
  • Contact and respond to current and prospective customers to sell and explain products and services
  • To attend and help to solve issue when customers complaint
  • Prepare and present proposals
  • Demonstrate products with confident and knowledge
  • Initiate prepare quotation and follow-up with customers/clients to solve problems and local market and answer questions
  • Attend sales seminars, meetings, or education activities to stay up-to-date on the latest developments and trends in the marketplace
  • Consistently reviewing, evaluating and discussing alternative recommendations to maximize return on investment.
  • Providing full support to the Regional Sales Manager in the development of the brands through the coordinated use of specified elements of the marketing mix
  • Able to perform tasks assign by the Regional Sales Manager as and when needed
  • To assist the Regional Sales Manager in conducting market survey and market research on various fast –moving consumer products
  • To assist in the formulation of marketing plan, such as various marketing campaigns to increase market share, sales volume, and brand recognition
  • To liaise and co-operate with all branches to coordinate efforts in promoting the products and increasing sales volume

Job Description

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent.
  • Required skill(s): Negotiation.
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Executives specializing in Sales – FMCG.
  • Full-Time position available based in Penang.
